1.1.4 — July 2026
- Cleaned items are now wrapped in a visible “RepoSweep Cleanup …” folder in Trash. Previously, hidden dot-folders (such as
.next) were invisible in Finder's Trash, could not be Put Back from the UI, and did not even enable Empty Trash. The container keeps the original folder structure, so restoring is one Put Back. - If moving the cleanup folder to Trash fails, every item is returned to its original location — nothing is ever left in limbo.
- Cleanup History now records and shows every moved item with its size.
- The cleanup summary explains that disk space is freed when you empty the Trash.
1.1.3 — July 2026
- After cleanup, RepoSweep now explains that hidden dot-folders (such as
.next) do not appear in Finder's Trash until you press Cmd+Shift+Period — they are in Trash and Put Back works normally.
1.1.2 — July 2026
- The scan progress screen no longer shows full file paths in free mode; parent folders are hidden the same way as in results, so the live view matches what free scans reveal.
- The unlock banner now shows exactly how much space a license would let you reclaim on this Mac.
